Trainee instructor post at Rhos y Gwaliau

Each year we take on several trainee instructors at the centre. This is a 1 year post running from September to July. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the outdoor industry.  Working as a trainee is a fantastic way to develop hands on experience teaching groups while still working towards instructor qualifications. Trainees work along side our experienced staff with groups and are mentored to develop their technical and teaching skills.

Room and board is provided as part of the contract with trainees being paid a small salary for the work they do in the kitchen. There is a budget for doing Governing Body    awards with trainees being put forward once they have the relevant skills and experience.
